CALLING ALL COOKS! The Charity Committee needs your help!
Got a favourite pudding or cake recipe? The Charity Committee are putting together a recipe book, but we need your recipes! The book will be made up of everyone’s favourite pudding and cake recipes, so if you have one you’d like to share with the Pate’s community, then please email it to us at charity@pates.gloucs.sch.uk.

The Head Master writes
Welcome to our 100th edition of the Grammar School Gazette. It started nearly 4 years ago as a fortnightly newsletter and the name was decided after being suggested by students and parents – I rather like it!
At that point we had very little e-mail communication – not just with parents but even within school and so had to print reams of paper to get messages to parents or into pigeon holes for staff.
We certainly had no such thing as a VLE and had fewer than half the pc’s that we currently have in school. We have redeveloped some science labs, admin areas, and created a fitness suite in that time. Most importantly, students who were in Pate’s middle school then, are now running the House system, Charity Committee, etc., or have headed off to university.
