Thank you to all parents who enabled our tour guides to be here in such numbers for last week’s open evening. The welcome our visitors received from the students was hugely appreciated, so well done and thank you to all the tour guides from every year group who did such a great job.

Come to my home if there are other options for me it seems silly propecia online and it is here that you can hear a lot of interesting facts about which you have never heard of.

Staff Vacancy - Music Teacher (part-time) – Pate’s Music Department is looking for a dynamic, inspirational teacher of music to join this highly successful department. A desire to contribute to the busy extra-curricular music programme is essential. This post, fixed in the first instance for spring and summer terms, is for every Thursday. Salary is negotiable. Please see the website for full details.

Music Department Calendar – a message from Ms Lane, Head of Music
With rehearsals now underway for the first concert of the year, this is a timely reminder of the performance dates. The Autumn Concert on 13th November will involve all pupils who are attending lunchtime music rehearsals. Please let me know as soon as possible, and certainly before half term, if your child cannot make the concert. The carol service will involve all the choirs and Year 7. Next term is fairly self-explanatory with the concerts divided into choral, orchestral and jazz. The Foundation Concert will again involve all groups. Please follow this link to the full Music Calendar and make a note of these dates now so that we can ensure maximum attendance. If you have any questions about any of these events, please do contact me This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

House Music CDs are now available for students to collect from Reception (£5 to pay on collection, unless already paid).

House Music photographs are now available to order at only £2.50 each from our professional photographer. Please follow this link to see / order the photographs (parents’ portal on the website).

Please follow this link to the Trips website for full details and reply slip (which should be returned with £100 deposit by 20th October).

Part of the trip will enable students to complete a controlled assessment task whilst these skills are still fresh. The task will count towards their AS mark. Please follow this link to the Trips website for full details and reply slip (which should be returned with £125 deposit by 20th October).
TRIP LAUNCH – Y9 & 10 Spanish trip to Malaga & Cordoba, March 2015. Berlin Experience (Feb 2015) – please note that the next payment of £200 is due by 17th October (please pay via Squid).

It has been a fun pyjama mufti day for the students in school today and the Charity Committee managed to sell all their Krispy Crème donuts within three and half minutes, raising over £2,500 for their nominated local charity Hop Skip & Jump! What a difference that amount of money will make! Thank you for supporting the Charity Committee today. Click here for more information about Hop Skip & Jump.

We are heading quickly towards half term - there has been so much to celebrate already and the school is buzzing with energy and possibilities. This week school has launched residential trips for students in Music, Art, Languages and Science, as well as a History trip and a rugby tour going off over half term! That is in addition to the many day trips which students have enjoyed this term. I am really grateful to the staff organising and running these trips.

Please continue to keep in touch with any queries or feedback.

Yours sincerely
