Today is Leavers’ Day, a day of celebration for our Year 13s. They started the day with a full cooked breakfast and the whole school enjoyed their special awards assembly and citations. To quote the lyrics from this year’s Leavers’ Song, “All Star”, they have so much to do and so much to see, and we will certainly miss them, but hope they will join us for our Y14 Christmas reunion, as is now tradition. It was lovely to welcome Y13 parents into school last night for farewell drinks and to thank them for their support, not least, as Joe said in his speech, the many hours spent ironing as those school shirts over the past 7 years!
Come to my house if there are other options for me it seems stupid propecia online and it is here that you can hear a lot of interesting facts about which you have never heard of.
Thank you so much to those of you who took time out of your busy schedules to attend the finance presentation on Wednesday evening. I hope you now share our determination and passion to do something about the situation that we are facing. We are repeating the presentation on Tuesday 19th May at 7pm in the refectory, for those that haven’t yet seen it - click here to book your place.

Good luck to U13 Handball Squad - our U13 boys handball squad travel to Swindon on Tuesday to represent the South West in the South of England Championships. The winners will move forward to the National Finals in June. Good luck!
A 'Night at the Musicals' (Wednesday 24th June 7-9pm) - hear some of your favourite West End songs, sung live to you by the students, and semi-staged in the rejuvenated Performing Arts Block Studio. There will be refreshments available throughout the evening. All are welcome, and tickets cost £3 per person and are available on Ticketsource (here).
Trip Launch (current Y8 & 9) - German Exchange 2015/16: An excellent opportunity for students to practise their German in real-life situations, plus the social and cultural benefits are also tremendously valuable, as students will experience life in a foreign country at first hand, living with a German family for ten days, trying different food, visiting different places and living according to different customs. The cost of this trip will be £325 (depending on the number of students involved). Please send in deposits of £100 to reserve a place by 22nd May (full details and reply slip here).
The Geography Department are supporting the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline Link again this year. Belarus is still badly affected by the Chernobyl disaster, food is still contaminated and many children are still suffering with many illnesses from birth. Each year CCLL sponsors 10 children to come to the UK from Belarus for a month's respite visit - while here they get access to safe food, dentist and optician as well as taking part in lots of activities from canoeing to a visit to the seaside all of which is believed to extend their lives by several years. The students arrive with just one set of clothes, so we are asking for donations of any clothing aged eight to thirteen years. Hopefully everyone is now bringing out their summer clothes from last year, so they can bring in any that no longer fit!! Clothes need to be in good condition (no school uniform, nightwear or socks please). A collection box will be available in reception. Thank you.

On behalf of all the staff at Pate’s I wish our Y13 leavers the very best for the future (and for their exams in a few weeks!). It has been a privilege to have been part of their upbringing; I anticipate great things for them and I’m sure they will keep in touch with all their latest news.
