- Annual Fund 2014-15 - ‘Riding the Rapids’
- Bus and Lift Share Update
- The Lauren Castello Award
I am delighted to formally launch the Annual Fund 2014-15, ‘Riding the Rapids’. In the next few days you will be receiving a brochure in the post with full details about his year’s fund and a report featuring the fantastic resources we were able to provide as a result of last year’s fund. It gives me great pleasure to be able to report that even though we are just at our formal launch point, we have been able to make a start on this year’s goals due to the early achievement of all of last year’s targets. We have been working on the hall over the summer, replacing the stage curtains and crest, but in particular providing an upgrade to the hall’s AV facilities, including AV equipped and height-adjustable lecterns. We have also been able to extend the sixth form private study facilities into an adjacent classroom, purchase a new practice piano and refurbish an old piano for the music department. However, we still have much to do and our remaining projects for this year include oscilloscopes for Physics, a ‘real’ periodic table for Chemistry, digital photography resources for Art, football goals for PE, and much more. For further details of the projects we aim to support this year please look out for the posted brochure or visit the website here. I would like express my sincere thanks to all of you who are supported last year’s Fund. To those who are still supporting, thank you again. If you haven’t yet ‘signed up’ to the Annual Fund, please consider doing so, we need you! You can donate online or download a donation form using the buttons below:
Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to reporting our progress throughout the year.
